    2. Aadhaar Card: Linked to a mobile number for OTP-based verification.

    3. GST Registration Certificate: Applicable if your business is registered under GST.

    4. Udyam Registration (MSME Certificate): For Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises to avail benefits under the MSME category.

    5. Income Tax Returns (ITR): Filed for the last 1–3 years, especially if you intend to participate in bidding.

    6. Bank Account Details: Including a canceled cheque and the IFSC code for payment purposes.

    7. Email ID and Mobile Number: For communication and verification.

    8. Product Information: Including images, specifications, and pricing details for the products or services you wish to list.

    9. Company Documents (if applicable):

      • CIN (Company Information Number): For Private/Public Limited Companies.

      • Factory License: For manufacturing units.

      • ISO Certifications: If available, to enhance credibility.

      • Trademark Registration: For brand protection.


    💰 Fees Associated with GeM Registration

    • Caution Money Deposit: Refundable security deposit based on your annual turnover:

      • Less than ₹1 crore: ₹5,000

      • ₹1 crore to ₹10 crores: ₹10,000

      • Above ₹10 crores: ₹25,000

    • Vendor Assessment Fee: ₹11,200 + 18% GST (approximately ₹13,216) for obtaining Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) status, if applicable.


    ✅ Steps to Register on GeM

    1. Create a Seller Account: Visit the GeM portal and sign up using your Aadhaar or PAN details.

    2. Complete Profile: Fill in organizational details, validate PAN, provide office location, and link your bank account.

    3. Upload Documents: Submit the required documents as listed above.

    4. Pay Caution Money: Deposit the applicable caution money based on your turnover.

    5. Apply for Vendor Assessment: If you wish to list products in Q1 or Q2 categories, apply for OEM status through the portal.List Products/Services: After approval, you can list your products or services on the GeM platform.
